Overwhelmed and discouraged by all the clutter in your home? Do you wish you had a home where you had peace and the spirit of hospitality? Is your focus on “things” blocking your relationship with God? This class will offer you a way to let go of the guilt (and the clutter). By popular request, this is an EVENING edition of the DAYTIME program offered at Mercy Prayer Center last January. The program includes prayer, meditation, quiet reflection time, sharing and tips designed to help you “build your decluttering motivation” on the way to deepening your spiritual life. Early registration is recommended. A followup Clutter and Spiritual Sharing group will be offered as well!

Filmmaker Cynthia Lester presented this film during the Reel Mind film festival in 2009 to a sold-out audience at the Little Theatre. The film tells the story of her mother, Eugenia’s, battle with the Pasadena City Council over the state of her property and how Cynthia and her brothers tried to clear the clutter. She will be the keynote speaker at the East House Hope and Recovery Luncheon on Sept. 30. (See below).
